A private World of Warcraft realm running Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a, with progression gating and an AI-populated world.

Custom Client Download

This custom client is already set to point at the server and has some mods preinstalled that help control the bots and allow all classes for all races. To get an account, message me on Discord: DuroFlint191

Progression

Content is gated per character, not per server. You start in vanilla: only vanilla zones, dungeons, items and spell ranks exist for you. Clearing a tier unlocks the next. Characters are held at level 60 until Molten Core and Onyxia are down, then The Burning Crusade opens, then Wrath.

Because it is tracked per character, two people can sit at different tiers at the same time, each seeing a different version of the world.

Draenei and Blood Elves can be created from the start.

Population

The world holds 1,000–1,500 AI players spread across levels 1–80. They quest, run dungeons, join battlegrounds and form guilds. You can invite up to 40 into a group to do raids.

They also talk. Bot conversation runs through a language model on the server. They remember previous conversations with you, form opinions about people over time, and track how warmly they regard you. You can whisper them and get an answer.

You can also hand your own character over to the AI and let it play while you watch.

Self-Botting Macros

Here are four macros, just add them in the macro editor by typing /macro in chat. Paste each of these in with no line breaks. They help control the behavior of your character when self botting. If you have trouble upgrading skills for a non-standard race-class combo (no trainer/no class quest), use the maintenance macro after enabling self-botting.

Enable/Disable Self-Botting

/s .playerbots bot self

Grind

/run SendChatMessage("grind","WHISPER",nil,UnitName("player"))

Quest

/run SendChatMessage("nc +new rpg,+grind,-follow","WHISPER",nil,UnitName("player"))

Bot Maintenance (Upgrades skills)

/run SendChatMessage("maintenance","WHISPER",nil,UnitName("player"))

Rules changes from retail

● All races can play all classes

● Experience: 1.5× on kills, quests, exploration and pets

● Gold: 2×

● Dungeon and raid boss drops: doubled, since bots roll on loot too

● Rested experience: accumulates twice as fast, banks up to three levels’ worth

● Mounts: 60% ground at level 20 for about five gold all in, 100% ground at level 40 for about sixty.

● Honor: 2×, and battleground reputation 1.5×

● Battleground kills award experience

● Arena: point rewards doubled, and only three games a week required to earn them

● Alterac Valley: objective turn-in thresholds roughly halved, so they are actually reachable in a match

● Guild charters need one signature instead of nine

● Quests work normally while in a raid group

● Molten Core’s runes douse automatically as bosses die, instead of requiring the Aqual Quintessence ritual

● Several Naxxramas 40-man fights adjusted so bot groups can handle their mechanics

● Zul’Aman opens after Karazhan rather than after Black Temple

● Dungeon Set 2 and the Scourge Invasion bosses are reachable while their rewards still matter

Auction house

Run by a server bot, filling toward roughly 10,000 listings across the three houses. Weighted toward crafting materials and consumables, lighter on gear. It also buys from players, if the price is right. Auctions last one to three days.

Notes

Characters and accounts are backed up nightly. PvE realm rules, but battlegrounds are available and populated by bots.
